Winterwunderland
Wir haben es geschafft! Nachdem ich mit Adam alles recherchiert und organisiert hatte, konnten wir unsere Eltern davon überzeugen, dieses Jahr unseren Winterurlaub in einem wunderschönen Skigebiet im Vogtland zu verbringen.
Für jeden ist etwas dabei: Hänge zum Rodeln, Skifahren oder Snowboarden, eine Eislaufbahn, endlose Bergwälder und vor allem die berühmte Wintersport Arena in Klingenthal. Dort finden jedes Jahr internationale Wettkämpfe statt.
Meine ganze Familie liebt den Wintersport.
Skispringen ist mein Lieblingssport. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, die Athlet*innen in der Vogtland Arena mit ihrer berühmten Sprungschanze am Schwarzberg zu bewundern.
Meine Eltern freuen sich vor allem auf das Schlittschuhlaufen. Sie trainieren schon seit Jahren und haben sogar schon eine Silbermedaille gewonnen. Gut, das war zu Karneval ein Wettbewerb für das beste Kostüm auf der Eisfläche, aber sie sind wirklich gut!
Meine kleine Schwester Lilia möchte auch Eiskunstläuferin werden. Ihr gefallen vor allem die besonderen Kleider. Zu Hause verkleidet sie sich mit Tüchern und Bändern, macht Sprünge und Pirouetten und spielt gleichzeitig die Jury. Wir haben ihr sogar ein Podium aus Pappe gebaut und Medaillen gebastelt. Die Bronzemedaille ist für sie am hübschesten. Sie nimmt sie immer für den ersten Platz.

We did it! After Adam and I had researched and organised everything, we were able to convince our parents to spend our winter holiday in a wonderful ski resort in the Vogtland this year.
There’s something for everyone: slopes for tobogganing, skiing or snowboarding, an ice rink, endless mountain forests and, above all, the famous Vogtland Arena in Klingenthal. International competitions are held there every year.
My whole family loves winter sports.
Ski jumping is my favourite sport. I can’t wait to admire the athletes in the Vogtland Arena with its famous ski jump on the Schwarzberg mountain.
My parents are especially looking forward to ice skating. They’ve been training for years and even won a silver medal once. Well, it was a competition for the best costume on the ice during carnival, but they are actually really good!
My little sister Lilia also wants to become a figure skater. She especially likes the special dresses. At home, she dresses up with scarves and ribbons and does jumps and pirouttes all while simultaneously playing the jury. We even made her a podium out of cardboard and some homemade medals. She thinks that the bronze medal is the prettiest. She always uses it for first place.
