Stadtbesichtigung

Ich wohne in einem kleinen Ort, der an einer beliebten Wanderroute liegt. Im Sommer kommen Touristen aus dem In- und Ausland hierher. Oft sind sie sehr müde, weil sie so viele Kilometer mit dem Rucksack gewandert sind. Zum Glück haben wir einen Campingplatz oder mehrere Hotels, wo man übernachten kann.

Weil unser Ort so schön ist, machen viele Wanderer hier ein paar Tage Pause, um sich umzusehen. Sie sind immer ganz begeistert und machen mit ihren Kameras unzählige Fotos.

Mein Onkel ist Reiseleiter und führt oft Touristengruppen durch den Ort. Die Touren beginnen an der Touristeninformation, wo man auch Ansichtskarten und einen Stadtplan kaufen kann. Mein Onkel geht mit den Besuchern durch den mittelalterlichen Stadtkern, an einigen Denkmälern vorbei bis hin zum Schloss. Durch ein Fernglas zeigt er auch die Ruinen einer alten Burg in den Bergen. Wenn man dorthin wandern will, folgt man einfach den Wegweisern.

Sightseeing

I live in a small town that is located near a popular hiking trail. In summer, tourists come here from home and abroad. They are often very tired because they have hiked so many kilometres with their rucksacks on their backs. Luckily, we have a campsite and several hotels where people can stay.

As our town is so beautiful, many hikers take a break here for a few days to see the sights. They are always so charmed that they take endless photos with their cameras.

My uncle is a tour guide and often takes groups of tourists through the town. The tours start at the tourist information centre, where you can also buy postcards and a map of the town. My uncles takes the visitors through the historic town centre that dates back to the middle ages, past some monuments and up to the castle. With binoculars, he also shows them the ruins of an old castle up in the mountains. If you want to go hiking there, you just follow the signs.
